Creative Director for Maximum Effort.

Pierce Thiot is a two-time Emmy nominated Creative Director, leading multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative, globally recognized work.

His most recent work included the Walking Deadvertising takeover during the series finale, as well as starting a burger chain with two of his friends (seventh location opening soon!). His other work has recently involved diving in head first into the world of “fastvertising,” with previous work including the launch of the latest iPad Pro by cleverly using a classic Little Mermaid track, and also creative directing the Fall Keynote Event opening film for Apple.

Prior to that, he focused on the launch of Apple TV+; as a creative director, he combines the power of storytelling and technology, leading teams to integrated work for some of the service’s largest titles.

Like a first-look teaser for The Morning Show and a deeply unsettling launch film for M. Night Syamalan’s Servant

And leveraging the Apple ecosystem in impactful ways – like a world-building Shot on iPhone series that gave fans a glimpse into the world SEE, an integrated  iPad campaign that brought Apple TV+ shows to life through Apple Pencil with social, digital, how-to films, and global Today at Apple sessions to bring fans into the world of the shows.

During his time on Apple, he's been responsible for award-winning work across series and product – including the Emmy-nominated, Cannes Gold-winning “Make Something Wonderful” film for Behind the Mac, Ariana Grande’s Memoji Music Video at the 2019 Grammy Awards, and getting Warren Buffett on Hypebeast

As a Creative Director at Anomaly Los Angeles, he pitched and won Beats by Dre, led global campaigns with some of the biggest athletes in the world. He also designed the iconic Black Mirror key art and launched Season 3 with tactics designed to unsettle new audiences.

TBWA\Chiat Day Los Angeles, he created the Emmy-nominated “Dear Peyton” film for Gatorade. And won the agency its first Cyber and Mobile Cannes Lions for Airbnb with the #LiveInTheMovies campaign during the 2016 Oscars.

In his free time, he creates posters for the world’s greatest comedian, he has written for The LEGO Documentary, has been featured by Instagram, and loves to work with students at his college’s AdLab (and any other students will to listen to his monologues).

Pierce lives at the cross-section of traditional advertising, entertainment, and Web3, working with both global brands like Apple And Netflix, well as directly with talent like Neal Brennan – creating key art concepts and design for his past three specials.

He's twice named one of Business Insider’s Top 30 creatives under 30, and one of Business Insider’s must-follow Instagram accounts, whatever that means.

Had Time Magazine do an article on his facial hair.

And was once run over by a garbage truck.

All true.
